Nail Fungi
Fungi can attack many parts of your body. Common body parts which fungi infest are usually feet, hands, and nails. Fungi which attack the nails manifest as yellowish or whitish blot just below the tip of a toe nail or finger nail. As the infection progresses, the nail turns into a dark yellowish color with brittle edges. Nail fungi can render toe nails or finger nails into an ugly and painful state. In order to prevent this from happening, you should first know how fungi develop on your body. Fungi thrive on a moisture-rich and warm environment. Wearing airtight rubber shoes or walking around shower room floors increases the probability of your body parts being infected with fungi. The most common type of fungi is known as athlete’s foot, and may at times work with other types of fungi to proliferate fungi all over the body. Nail fungal infection is not easily cured. Luckily, modern medicine has found ways to get rid of nail fungi, as well as other types of fungi which attack the body.
